Ibiza may be famous for its beautiful beaches, but it also boasts a rich culinary scene that might just surprise you. Across the White Island, you’ll find renowned restaurants where each dish is a carefully crafted work of art.

Each venue offers its own distinct experience—from Michelin-starred fine dining to laid-back beach bars serving local favourites. The choice is yours.

A multisensory luxury experience

For an exclusive, one-of-a-kind dinner, “Sublimotion” in Sant Josep offers the world’s most expensive menu. Helmed by chef Paco Roncero, it blends cutting-edge molecular gastronomy with 360° projections and virtual reality to create a truly immersive dining spectacle. In 2025, Sublimotion will debut Metagastronomy, a new concept centred on the ancestral ritual of sharing food and time with loved ones.

Haute cuisine and Michelin stars

Ibiza is home to several Michelin-starred restaurants. “La Gaia,” led by chef Óscar Molina, offers a refined culinary journey that elevates the island’s local ingredients. Its excellence has earned it a Michelin star and two Repsol Suns. Located in the Ibiza Gran Hotel, it features avant-garde tasting menus that fuse innovation with tradition.

Another standout is “Can Domo” in Santa Eulària des Riu, where acclaimed chefs Javier Sanz and Juan Sahuquillo (known for revolutionising Spanish cuisine with Cañitas Maite in Albacete) offer their own creative twist on Mediterranean flavours.

Seaside ambiance and beach clubs

For a more relaxed meal by the sea, gems like “Casa Jondal” are not to be missed. This elegant beachside restaurant, led by El Bulli alum Rafa Zafra, specialises in ultra-fresh seafood and fish.

Another must-visit is “Amante” in Cala Sol d’en Serra, known for its high-quality Mediterranean fare, boho-chic atmosphere, and stunning sunsets. The catch of the day is always a winning choice.

Emerging hotspots

“Hell’s Kitchen Ibiza” marks the first European location of Gordon Ramsay’s iconic restaurant, located in The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel in Playa d’en Bossa. Here, diners enjoy a high-end culinary experience wrapped in a bold, theatrical setting.

Tapas and more casual bites

Ibiza also has an excellent offering of informal eateries and creative tapas bars. “Laylah” stands out with its chic décor and inventive takes on Middle Eastern flavours—a culinary journey not to be missed.

Other favourites include “La Paloma” in Sant Joan de Labritja, which serves fresh, healthy Mediterranean cuisine in a laid-back, welcoming setting.

A range of choices for every taste and every budget—so, which one will you go for?
