No one said making a selection would be easy… especially when it comes to choosing the best coves in Ibiza. Still, with our best intentions, we’ve compiled below some of the most attractive coves in Ibiza, sure to leave anyone who visits them in awe.

One of the most impressive is Cala Salada, located on the West Coast near San Antonio. It is famous for its turquoise waters and rocky surroundings that create natural pools, perfect for swimming or snorkelling. Surrounded by pine trees and difficult to access by car, it maintains a more exclusive and less crowded atmosphere, especially outside the high season. Close by is Cala Saladeta, accessible on foot from Cala Salada, which offers an even more peaceful and paradisiacal setting.

Another gem is Cala Comte, considered by many to be one of Ibiza’s most beautiful beaches. From its golden sands, you can enjoy one of the island’s best sunsets, with views of small islets on the horizon. Its clear, shallow waters are ideal for families and swimmers, while the nearby cliffs offer stunning panoramic views.

Cala d’Hort, on the southwest of the island, provides a different experience. From its shore, visitors can admire the imposing Es Vedrà, a rocky islet associated with various legends and said to radiate special energy. This cove combines sandy and rocky areas, making it perfect for both relaxing and exploring the underwater world with snorkelling gear. The sunset view with Es Vedrà in the background is one of Ibiza’s most iconic images.

Cala Xarraca, in the north of the island, is ideal for those seeking a wilder, less touristy environment. This cove, with clear waters and reddish sand, is surrounded by cliffs and vegetation, making it perfect for snorkellers and those looking for tranquillity. It also features small natural mud areas that many visitors use for beauty treatments.

A few kilometres from Sant Joan de Labritja is Cala de Benirràs, one of the most famous northern coves. It still preserves the hippie spirit of the 60s and 70s, and every summer Sunday, a party is held where the sound of drums accompanies the sunset.

These are some of the most beautiful coves in Ibiza, but we invite you to create your own list. The ‘White Island’ awaits…
