We review the main tips that decoration experts give us when it comes to styling our homes in 2026. The goal is for interiors to feel softer, warmer and more expressive. To achieve this, we turn to:

1. Warmer and deeper colour palettes: Earthy tones remain, but the spotlight shifts to warm, soft neutrals. We will see colours such as beige, taupe and Cloud Dancer, Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2026. These colours offer a sense of comfort and connection with nature, encouraging welcoming environments throughout the home.

2. Natural materials and tactile textures: Authenticity and depth are sought through materials with a story: wood with visible grain, natural stone, handcrafted ceramics and rich fabrics such as linen or wool. These textures not only add visual interest but also create tactile sensations that invite people to experience and feel the space.

3. Organic shapes and sculptural furniture: Design moves away from strict straight lines to embrace soft curves and silhouettes reminiscent of natural forms. Voluminous, sculptural-style sofas, rounded tables and arched doorways create a warmer, more dynamic visual flow, making each piece function like art within the space.

4. Individuality and personal narratives: Rather than following uniform styles, 2026 promotes spaces that reflect the stories and personalities of those who live in them. This is expressed through collected objects, handcrafted or vintage pieces, unique art and eclectic combinations that tell a personal story in every corner.

5. Sustainability and conscious design: Concern for the environment continues to grow and translates into more sustainable décor: responsibly sourced furniture, recycled pieces, eco-friendly materials and products designed to age well. This trend combines aesthetics and responsibility, responding to the demand for greener, longer-lasting homes.

6. Adaptive and functional spaces: Homes in 2026 are flexible places that support different uses: working, relaxing, socialising and resting. Design incorporates smart solutions such as convertible furniture, adaptable lighting or well-defined zones within open-plan spaces. Technology is integrated naturally and discreetly into the very structure of the home, with heating, multimedia and lighting systems that are completely invisible.

Among the styles that will be most popular in 2026 are Japandi, Boho Chic and Industrial. Each of them incorporates these trends in their own way.

Pantone has chosen Cloud Dancer (PANTONE 11-4201) as its Colour of the Year 2026, a soft, ethereal white tone characterised by conveying calm, clarity and serenity in a world increasingly saturated with visual and digital stimuli. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that, for the first time, a white colour has been selected, reflecting a cultural interest in more peaceful, contemplative and simplified spaces.

Pantone presents it as “a sublime white that serves as a symbol of calming influence in a society rediscovering the value of quiet reflection.” According to PANTONE, the colour known as Cloud Dancer “encourages true relaxation and concentration, allowing the mind to wander and creativity to breathe, making room for innovation.”

In terms of interior design, Cloud Dancer becomes a powerful tool for creating environments that evoke tranquillity and spaciousness. Its neutral, well-balanced presence allows interiors to appear brighter and more open without feeling cold or impersonal. This quality makes it ideal for areas such as living rooms, bedrooms and studies, where visual calm is especially valued.

In addition, this natural white functions as a blank canvas on which a rich and varied palette can be built. Cloud Dancer pairs perfectly with organic materials such as wood, stone and natural textiles, as well as with more defined colours. For example, it can highlight earth tones, soft greens or warm greys, adding depth without detracting from the overall sense of serenity

Another important aspect is its ability to adapt to any style: Cloud Dancer fits just as well in minimalist, contemporary design as it does in interiors with a more classic tradition.

In modern settings, it reinforces a sense of simplicity and sophistication; in traditional spaces, it adds a fresh, renewed touch without disrupting the existing harmony. This makes it a particularly valuable colour for projects seeking timelessness.

Its selection as Pantone’s Colour of the Year also carries emotional and psychological implications for interior spaces. A tone like Cloud Dancer not only brightens rooms physically but also promotes relaxation, introspection and well-being, qualities many people seek in their homes to counterbalance the fast-paced rhythm of everyday life.

The walls of our home are like a blank canvas, a space where we can express our tastes, emotions and personality.

In Ibiza, Mediterranean light is one of the island’s greatest charms, so your walls should help enhance that brightness. Choose shades of white, ivory or sand that reflect the natural light and create a sense of spaciousness.

Traditional Ibizan homes are known for their strong connection with nature. To preserve that spirit, consider incorporating materials such as stone, wood or handcrafted plaster on some walls. An exposed stone wall or one finished in microcement can add an elegant yet rustic contrast while maintaining a relaxed, modern aesthetic.

Art is a wonderful way to give character to your walls. Hanging soft-toned abstract paintings, black-and-white photographs or handmade ceramics can transform a space into something truly personal, and distinctly Mediterranean.

Playing with mirrors and metallic elements is another option. Mirrors amplify the light and add a hint of sophistication. A piece framed in reclaimed wood or aged gold metal fits beautifully into a cosy, contemporary setting. Combine them with wall lamps or metal sconces to create warm lighting and a more intimate atmosphere as evening falls.

Plants are essential in a modern Ibizan home. Floating shelves with ceramic pots or a vertical garden on a living room or terrace wall bring life to the space. Plants not only add colour and freshness but also improve air quality and convey a sense of calm and harmony with the natural surroundings.

Aim for a balance between modern minimalism and Mediterranean comfort. Avoid overcrowding the walls and, instead, choose a few well-selected elements that create harmony. The key lies in letting the space breathe, allowing light, texture and natural materials to take centre stage.

Colour has a profound impact on our emotions and moods. Since ancient times, different cultures have used colours for symbolic, spiritual and therapeutic purposes. Colour psychology has shown that certain shades can evoke specific sensations. For example, blue tends to convey calm and serenity, while red can increase energy and excitement.

At home, it is important to choose colours carefully and thoughtfully, as these choices will influence how we feel in our own space. A harmonious and well-balanced colour scheme can enhance well-being, promote relaxation, and support concentration. Conversely, poor colour choices can cause discomfort, visual fatigue or even anxiety.

Therefore, when decorating a home, we should consider which emotions we want to evoke in each room.

Cool colours such as blue, green, or lavender tones are ideal for bedrooms or relaxation areas, as they help reduce stress and promote sleep.

Warm colours like yellow, orange or red are more stimulating and work well in social spaces such as kitchens or dining rooms, where people gather and conversation tends to flow more easily.

Natural light also plays a crucial role in how we perceive colour in a space. The same shade can appear brighter or duller depending on the room’s orientation and the amount of light it receives. It is important to test colours under different lighting conditions before making final decisions. Additionally, combining colours with varying levels of saturation and brightness can help create depth and dynamism without overwhelming the space.

It is not only walls that influence a home’s atmosphere: furniture, textiles, artwork and small decorative details also contribute colour and, therefore, emotion. A neutral-toned sofa can be balanced with vibrant-coloured cushions, while an earth-toned rug can add warmth without being overpowering. These elements allow for more flexible use of colour, making it easier to adapt to different seasons or moods.

There is no doubt that colour is a powerful tool in interior design, capable of completely transforming the experience of inhabiting a space. Choosing the right colours is a critical decision that can directly influence the quality of life of those living in that environment.

Integrating the kitchen into the living room is currently one of the most popular trends in modern interior design. This layout not only addresses space considerations but also offers a clean, contemporary visual aesthetic.

Removing walls creates a more open, bright and welcoming atmosphere, which is perfect for those seeking a functional home without sacrificing style. A living room with an integrated kitchen transforms the space into something magazine-worthy, where every element has a purpose and visual harmony is carefully maintained.

One of the main advantages of this configuration is the sense of spaciousness. By combining the kitchen and living room, physical barriers that traditionally separate the two areas are removed, allowing light to flow more freely and making the space feel larger. This is particularly valuable in small flats, where every square metre counts.

With thoughtful planning, it is possible to create distinct zones without walls, using elements such as islands, rugs or changes in texture to define each area.

Integrating the kitchen into the living room also encourages social interaction at home. While cooking, there is no need to isolate oneself from the rest of the house or from guests. An open kitchen allows the cook to continue conversing and participating in activities happening in the living room.

From an aesthetic standpoint, this layout provides an excellent opportunity for a uniform and coherent design. Built-in appliances, minimalist finishes and the use of quality materials such as wood, marble or steel help create an elegant and sophisticated look.

Another key advantage is functionality and efficiency in everyday life. With everything in view and within reach, household tasks become simpler. Preparing meals, serving and cleaning up becomes more convenient and faster.

An integrated kitchen can also increase a property’s value. It is highly attractive to potential buyers or tenants, especially in today’s market, which values open, versatile and modern spaces. With careful layout, quality materials and good lighting, the result can be a space that perfectly balances practicality and aesthetics, making it ideal for contemporary living.

BREEZE: FUNCTIONALITY AND DESIGN IN EVERY ROOM

In Breeze, the layout is designed to maximise space, making the most of every corner. Most rooms are exterior-facing, so natural light plays a starring role.

Open spaces stand out, with kitchens integrated into the living room, enhancing the sense of spaciousness and creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Decorating a bedroom for the little ones at home is a great opportunity to spark their creativity and provide them with a comfortable, functional and cheerful space.

The first step is to choose a theme or decorative style that matches their tastes and interests: their favourite characters, animals, sports, nature or simply a colour palette that conveys both energy and calm.

Wall colour is a key element. Soft tones like blue, green or lilac help create a relaxing atmosphere, while bright colours like yellow or red can bring energy when used for accents or on a single wall. Wallpaper with fun designs or hand-painted murals can also bring the room to life.

Furniture should be functional, safe and age-appropriate. A comfortable bed, a table or desk for schoolwork or art, and accessible storage for toys, books, and clothes are essential. Modular or multifunctional furniture, such as beds with drawers or foldable desks, are excellent for maximising space—especially in smaller rooms.

Lighting is another fundamental aspect. A good ceiling lamp combined with reading lights or night lamps with child-friendly designs can create a cosy atmosphere. Natural light should be used to the fullest, so light curtains that let sunlight in while preserving privacy are ideal. For younger children, a dim nightlight can help ease the fear of the dark.

Textiles like rugs, cushions and bedding offer an opportunity to add texture, colour and personality to the room. Choosing soft, washable fabrics is important for both comfort and easy maintenance. Prints featuring fun illustrations, geometric shapes or patterns related to the chosen theme can enhance the overall décor.

Decorative elements should be carefully selected. Pictures, shelves with children’s books, chalkboards or magnetic boards can enrich the space. A wall where the child can display their own drawings or crafts can boost their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment. Including small plants—always safe ones—can also bring a natural touch and teach them to take care of living things.

Décor should evolve with the child. As they grow, their preferences and interests will change, so it’s best to go with a neutral base and incorporate themed details that are easy to replace. That way, the room can grow with them without requiring major changes all the time.

With a balance of aesthetics, functionality, and child participation, you can create the ideal space to rest, play and learn.

When tackling bathroom décor, the first thing to consider is the style we want for this space. It’s essential to think about the elements that will ensure long-term functionality and aesthetics, in addition to planning furniture and accessories, which also play a key role.

Below, we present several proposals:

1. Minimalist Style and Maximum Functionality: This aims to prioritise simplicity, clean lines, and a neutral colour palette. The goal is to create open and relaxing spaces where each element has a clear function. Wall-mounted furniture, integrated sinks, and the use of materials like polished cement or matte ceramic fall within this elegant and modern style.

2. Natural Materials and Sustainability: We’re talking about natural materials like treated wood, stone, bamboo or wicker, which bring warmth and connect with nature. Eco-friendly solutions are also sought, such as low-consumption faucets, dual-flush toilets, and the use of recyclable or low-impact materials.

3. Dark Colours and Bold Contrasts: More and more people are opting for dark colours like black, forest green, or navy blue to create sophisticated, characterful spaces. These colours are often combined with metallic details in gold, copper or matte black.

4. Integrated Technology and Home Automation: From mirrors with LED lights and Bluetooth integration to programmable showers and underfloor heating systems, technology is redefining comfort in these spaces. There are even toilets with advanced features like heated seats, automatic cleaning, or presence sensors.

5. Walk-In Showers and Freestanding Bathtubs: Walk-in showers, without doors or with transparent glass panels, provide visual spaciousness and accessibility. These showers usually have floor-level trays and linear drainage systems. On the other hand, freestanding bathtubs have made a strong comeback, becoming the aesthetic centrepiece of the bathroom.

6. Spa-Like Spaces and Personal Wellness: Elements that evoke spas are gradually being incorporated, such as warm, adjustable lighting, aromatherapy, or ambient music. The sensory experience is prioritised to turn the daily routine into a moment of well-being.

7. Smart Storage and Personalised Design: Order is key, so smart storage takes centre stage. Custom furniture is designed to make use of every corner, internal organisers are used, and floating shelves or wall niches are installed.

BREEZE, STYLE IN EVERY CORNER

All BREEZE bathrooms are characterised by clean lines and minimalist finishes, which help maximise the feeling of order and spaciousness. Among other elements, they include vanity units that help keep the space uncluttered, in addition to adding an elegant and contemporary touch.

When choosing the décor for a terrace, it’s important to plan a comfortable layout where aesthetics and functionality come together. It is recommended to have a single setting, instead of opting for more than one, which could become overwhelming.

In the following lines, we suggest several styles so you can choose the one that best suits you and your day-to-day life:

1. Bohemian and Relaxed Style: A terrace with a bohemian style can become your favourite spot to disconnect. Use colourful rugs, large cushions, blankets with ethnic prints, and lanterns or warm hanging lights. Plants, clay or wicker pots, and furniture made of rattan or recycled wood complete this relaxed and cosy aesthetic.

2. Modern Minimalism: For those who prefer a cleaner and more sophisticated environment. Use a neutral colour palette (white, grey, black and beige), furniture with straight lines, and materials like metal, light wood or glass. You can also include plants, but in fewer numbers and well chosen, such as a monstera or a bonsai.

3. Urban Green Corner: Transform your terrace into a small garden. Add vertical planters or shelves with plants, and grow aromatic herbs, flowers, or even small vegetables if you have space and good light. Adding a water fountain or a small artificial pond can give a relaxing and natural touch.

4. Chill-Out Space: For gatherings with friends or simply to relax with a book. A low sofa or poufs, a low table, candles, and a string of LED lights can create a relaxed atmosphere. Adding a hammock or a hanging swing gives it an original and very comfortable touch.

5. Outdoor Dining Area: If you love eating outdoors. A folding table, comfortable chairs, an umbrella or awning for sun protection, and some décor with candles or natural centrepieces will be enough to fully enjoy the space. You could even include a small portable barbecue if space and regulations allow.

6. Themed Décor: You can also choose a specific theme to decorate your terrace, such as a Mediterranean style with blues and whites, painted ceramics, and wrought iron furniture; or something more tropical with vibrant colours, potted palm trees, cushions with leaf prints and bamboo décor. Employing a theme helps maintain visual coherence and gives the space a lot of personality.

BREEZE, 84 TERRACED HOMES

Which of these styles would you apply to a terrace like the ones you can enjoy at BREEZE Ibiza? In this project, all the homes have their own terrace—a unique space that allows you to breathe the purest air and gaze out at the Mediterranean, from the warmth of your home.

PANTONE is the universal colour language for designers, brands, and manufacturers. To engage all stakeholders in this conversation, the Pantone Color of the Year selection began in 1999. Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute, explains that their goal was to “draw attention to the relationship between culture and colour. We wanted to highlight to our audience how what is happening in our global culture is expressed and reflected through the language of colour.”

Pressman emphasises how, since then, people worldwide eagerly anticipate the announcement of the Pantone Color of the Year.

Experts conduct extensive observation and research that goes far beyond art and design. The Pantone Color of the Year is influenced by cinema and fashion, but also by social movements, political changes and global events that shape the international landscape.

In 2025, the Pantone Color Institute has selected “Mocha Mousse” (PANTONE 17-1230) as the Color of the Year. This warm and rich shade evokes the essence of cocoa, chocolate, and coffee, connecting us with simple and natural pleasures.

According to Laurie Pressman, the choice of this colour reflects a focus on harmony, nature and personal or shared indulgence.

“Mocha Mousse” is characterised by subtle reddish or mauve undertones, giving it a discreet sophistication and an earthy refinement. Its versatility allows it to be easily integrated into various colour combinations, from neutral tones to bolder options like dusty blue, turquoise or pink.

In fashion, it has gained prominence for both men and women in 2025’s collections. Renowned designers have incorporated “Mocha Mousse” into their proposals, highlighting its ability to bring sensory warmth and timeless elegance to clothing.

In interior design, it aligns with the “quiet luxury” trend, characterised by earthy and subtle tones that create a sense of calm and sophistication. Additionally, it complements natural materials and is ideal for elements such as leather armchairs, clay vases, bedding, and paintings, creating cosy and elegant spaces.

It also reflects a connection to well-being and harmony, promoting spaces that invite relaxation and the enjoyment of everyday pleasures. Its warmth and elegance make it a versatile and sophisticated choice.

The Pantone Color of the Year sets the tone for trends in fashion, graphic design, web design, and countless everyday products.

Our home is our sanctuary, the place where we seek rest and tranquillity. To turn it into a true space of well-being, here are some useful tips:

1. Keep things clean and tidy, two key aspects. A clean home helps reduce stress. It is important to establish a regular cleaning schedule, use natural and eco-friendly products, and incorporate plants to improve indoor air quality.

A clutter-free space also enhances concentration. Decluttering and getting rid of unused items create more space and mental clarity.

2. Good lighting and ventilation are also key. Open your windows daily to refresh the air, prevent humidity, and eliminate bad odours. Making the most of natural light during the day and choosing warm lighting at night can positively impact your mood and sleep quality.

3. Incorporating natural elements is an excellent way to enhance the environment. Plants and flowers not only add beauty and colour to your home, but they also purify the air by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen.

4. Create a meditation space. Practicing meditation can reduce stress and improve your daily life. Choose a quiet, distraction-free area, add comfortable cushions and blankets, and use candles or soothing scents to create a serene environment.

5. Decorate with harmony in mind. Soft colours and natural materials like wood or cotton can make your home feel more inviting and cosier.

6. Organise your workspace. A clean and comfortable work environment is essential. Use an ergonomic chair and a suitable desk to prevent discomfort or injuries, and ensure proper lighting to avoid eye strain.

7. Sleep is essential for your well-being, and it is up to you to create the right environment for restful sleep. To achieve this, keep your bedroom cool and dark, and use soft, comfortable bedding. Additionally, it’s best to limit the use of electronic devices before bed.

8. Invest in an efficient kitchen and healthy food choices. Having appliances that simplify meal preparation and opting for fresh ingredients will help you cook nutritious meals more easily.

By following these simple steps, you can turn your home into a warm and welcoming space for you and your loved ones.
