OUR WALLS SPEAK
The walls of our home are like a blank canvas, a space where we can express our tastes, emotions and personality.
In Ibiza, Mediterranean light is one of the island’s greatest charms, so your walls should help enhance that brightness. Choose shades of white, ivory or sand that reflect the natural light and create a sense of spaciousness.
Traditional Ibizan homes are known for their strong connection with nature. To preserve that spirit, consider incorporating materials such as stone, wood or handcrafted plaster on some walls. An exposed stone wall or one finished in microcement can add an elegant yet rustic contrast while maintaining a relaxed, modern aesthetic.

Art is a wonderful way to give character to your walls. Hanging soft-toned abstract paintings, black-and-white photographs or handmade ceramics can transform a space into something truly personal, and distinctly Mediterranean.
Playing with mirrors and metallic elements is another option. Mirrors amplify the light and add a hint of sophistication. A piece framed in reclaimed wood or aged gold metal fits beautifully into a cosy, contemporary setting. Combine them with wall lamps or metal sconces to create warm lighting and a more intimate atmosphere as evening falls.

Plants are essential in a modern Ibizan home. Floating shelves with ceramic pots or a vertical garden on a living room or terrace wall bring life to the space. Plants not only add colour and freshness but also improve air quality and convey a sense of calm and harmony with the natural surroundings.
Aim for a balance between modern minimalism and Mediterranean comfort. Avoid overcrowding the walls and, instead, choose a few well-selected elements that create harmony. The key lies in letting the space breathe, allowing light, texture and natural materials to take centre stage.
